Marathon training has resumed...finally, we have 7.5 months to get in good enough condition to run 26.2 miles. It's amazing we ran for 13 miles and now 3 is pushing it. Both of us (nancy my running buddy and I) got very fat after the marathon in October 2006 because we totally stopped exercising and overate during the holidays. Today after our run (4 miles) i was starving, craving salty food and really tired. then when i woke up i almost fainted but couldn't figure out why...The past 2 Saturday's i've been totally fine. THEN about 10 minutes ago (12+ hours since our run) i finally had the brilliant idea to google it and discovered that: I need Gatorade. man, i wasted the whole day feeling drained, how'd our ancestors do this shit all day without Gatorade? That is all.
