(no subject)
Originally I had planned to finish most of the auction vids I owe people before Vividcon...and then, y'know, life. But now that I am all surgically recovered and Vividcon is over, I'm sitting down with my piles of projects and rolling up my sleeves.
Which is how I ended up spending my morning mucking around in the timeline I'd started for a Tapeheads vid, a movie I hadn't seen in over 20 years until
jackiekjono requested it. OMG, you guys. This movie. It is so ridiculous in the most awesome ways. I wonder if it would be as funny to anyone who wasn't around for the 80s music video explosion, but, god, I know I'm just dying here.
Also, John Cusack has a pencil mustache which is a thing of beauty I tell you. Practically his entire character is summed up in that mustache. And Tim Robbins is so freaking adorable I pretty much die every time he's on screen. And they are so young.
Vidding is hard. I've already bashed my head against the computer screen more than once, but the source is tickling me enough that I kinda don't care. A good start to operation Don't Leave Auction Recipients Hanging, I think.
