I actually truly enjoyed the Christmas special. I thought it was well written, David was as excellent as ever, and they emphasised the horror that came with being the Doctor, which is all I could ask for. The bride even grew on me; Catherine Tate was excellent, too. It almost made me wish she would be his companion

My name is Jenny Quantum and I’m in the Authority but you know that. I’m very famous and so are my daddies - Apollo and Midnighter. They are very strong and brave and they save the world all the time! I sometimes save the world as well, because I have superpowers and stuff! I can do boom and make evil people go away. I want to be a superhero when I grow up. Daddy Apollo say that I could be anything other if I wanted to but I really want to help people. It’s fun. Especially the part with blowing things away. Daddies love blowing things away, I’ve heard uncle Jack says so!
I live on a big ship called Carrier, it’s really big, I mean REALLY big, like VERY REALLY big and it can take you anywhere you want in a matter of seconds, even if it’s in another dimension or another planet or another city, even. It’s really cool.
I really hope to hear from you soon, you are my first pen-friend. I wrote the letter all by myself (except the spell-check, the computer did it for me) :D
