Step 1) Extend plane ticket.

Step 2) Check on hotel

Step 2A) If hotel is not an option, gut several hippies and construct a suitable inconspicuous yurt as temporary shelter.

Step 3) Profit.

No. Tickets for all 4 days sold out months ago. I imagine it's wishful thinking to hope that David or John would show up a couple days early just to hang at the con.

Not necessarily. The guy plays The Doctor, you have to believe he's at least a little bit of a geek . . .

He's also a geek with a tight overseas schedule. We'll see.

It's so annoying that the tickets sold out months before SDCC even started announcing any sort of schedule.

Granted, they didn't expect this. Advance tickets didn't sell out last year until the week of the con. Still... grrrr.

I know. I share the annoyance. But when they started to sell out damned early, you think someone would have said 'holy shit, we should put out a schedule NOW'

The schedule depends on getting confirmation from the special guests who do the panels and signings and whatnot. Those people can't confirm their own schedules far enough in advance, due to TV/film shooting schedules and other appearances and promotions and whatnot.
