"Registros de los Tres Imperios /  Anales de los Tres Reinos
-The Records of Three Kingdoms (simplified Chinese: 三国志; traditional Chinese: 三國志; pinyin: Sānguó Zhì), is the official and authoritative historical text on the period of Three Kingdoms covering from 189 to 280, that was written by Chen Shou in the 3rd century. The work collects the smaller histories of the rival states Cao Wei (曹魏), Shu Han (蜀漢) and Eastern Wu (東吳) of the Three Kingdoms into a single text and provided the basis for the later more popular historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms in the 14th century.
-The book is also important to the research of Japan's history (where it is known as Sangokushi (三国志?)), for its volume on the Wa people is the first historical document to make explicit mention of Japan. It describes the ancient country of Yamataikoku and its queen, Himiko.

Last but not least important:
(*) The term "Three Kingdoms" itself is something of a mistranslation, since each state was eventually headed not by a king, but by an emperor who claimed legitimate succession from the Han Dynasty. so the right term should be "Three Empires".  Nevertheless, the term "Three Kingdoms" has become standard among sinologists.

The book 三国志评话 sanguozhi pinghua (five syllable but only one tonal break) in its original was first written and published during the Ming era, about 1,200 years after the events of the Three Kingdoms. This is to say there was a preceding - and actual - historical account. This official record is known simply as sanguozhi 三國志 or Three Kingdom Annals, published 3rd Century...
Although frequent usage of the word ‘country’ or ‘nation’ is rendered in hanzi as 国, its etymology is that of a king 王 within an enclosed boundary marked as 囗. In modern usage, its English translation ought be nation-state so as to signify a ruler or government 王 administrating a land within a fixed geography 囗....
The etymology in the ideogram script-word 國, modified today as 国, gives a far better sense into the Chinese idea of nation-state than its English language equivalent, which is country or state.
Guo 國 is an enclosure, scripted as 囗. Within it nothing is determinate - 或, read as huo - unless they are held together in their defense by this sign 戈. It is the script-word for man with a spear, and this reads as ge. The simplified version 国 offers a parallel idea: all the jade 玉, material symbol of Chinese society, resting inside a border.More about Three Kingdoms {x}

That is the reason why some people translate the name of this song like: 'Royal Dragon of Three Kingdoms' but actually like i pointed out above
Yu: It´s  "Imperial" not "Royal".
Long: is "Dragon" so is the same
Sanguo: It´s  "Three Empires" not "Three Kingdoms"
Zhi: is "Records", "Annals", "History "
In sumary, that is the reason why I put like name "Imperial Dragon's Records of Three Empires" but if we can keep the occidental mistranslation which it has become standard among sinologists, this would be 'Royal Dragon's Records of Three Kingdoms'
..
Just a little background info :
About Dragon:
Chinese Dragon is also the symbol of the Chinese race. Chinese proclaim themselves "Long De Chuan Ren" (Descendents of the Dragon), then [ Descendants of the Dragon ] refers to the Chinese Race.  Chinese emperors think they are the real dragons and the sons of heaven. Thus the beds they sleep on are called the dragon beds, the throne called the dragon seat, and the emperor's ceremonial dresses called the dragon robes.

Another T/N:
At the subb I translate the  王 (Wang) word like "King"  but literrally will be "Emperor", due to at occident is standard to translate 王 (Wang) like "King". Remember they was headed not by a king, but by an emperor.
.
At the end, this title will be something like :
King / (Chinese) Emperors' Records of Three Empires/ Kingdoms
King /(Chinese) Emperors' Records of Three Kingdoms/ Empires
King /(Chinese) Emperors' Annals of Three Empires / Kingdoms
King / (Chinese) Emperors' History of the Three Kingdoms / Empires

Then , after we know all of that background info I wrote above, title refers  to:
oriental way:
(Chinese) Emperors' Records of Three Empires
occidental way:
(Chinese) King' Records of Three Kingdoms

About the GAME: Sangokushi: Nakahara no Hasha [Spoiler (click to open)]

Nintendo Entertainment System
A war strategy game that focuses on the Ancient Chinese Three Kingdoms conflict. It was developed by TOSE and published by Namco for the NES.
Overview
Sangokushi refers to a novel written about the Three Kingdoms period of China, where the country was temporarily split into three warring states. This is different to the the Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel, a mostly fictionalized account written some considerable time after the conflict was over and has had many video game adaptations, not least of which being Koei's Romance of the Three Kingdoms and their later Dynasty Warriors series.
As a war strategy game, the goal for the player and their chosen side is to reclaim all of China under their rule. Players can gather intel, invade other territories or increase their own stats and purchase weapons and supplies for their armies. The game affords the player a certain number of actions per turn before letting the CPU opponents have their turns.
Though this game was created after Romance of the Three Kingdoms, it is in fact the first NES game to be based on the conflict.
