Another interesting way of showing cityscape/landscape. Combining a shot of day time and a show of night time, it might seem pretty easy to do, get a camera and a tri-pot go sit at a place and take some photos, open up photoshop and put them together. finish. done. BUT to make something as beautiful needs whole lot of more work. for example, matching the direction of light and shadow, light trails and cars..
American photographer Stephen Wilkes spent over 10 hours in a spot and took hundreds of photos from each spot and composited from tens of photos to create 1 perfectly fitted shot of Day and Night. As some people often say “oh, it’s just like this and that, it’s not that hard” but actually an simple idea that seem easy might take tons of hours to make it, not to say to make it perfect! Respect!
