I still haven't found ducks and fed them popcorn.

So I've been in Bloomington for quite some time. I like this town much better in the summer. The insane traffic has slowed a bit and at night the campus is dead. It's almost like a ghost town. I've been looking forward to late-night walks, but it's been raining a lot. For now, grilling out (and Pizza Express), drinking, and listening to the band practice mixed with the sound of the fans blowing throughout the house will have to do. Sleeping with a light sheet and the windows open, next to someone, is contentment. (Now if only the bed were a little bigger.)

The Tribute and I shot a music video on Saturday. It was a lot of fun despite the complications early in the morning. The guys who did the video were great, and they made me feel completely comfortable with having a camera in my face for hours. The Crump was amazing, as always. I could live in that theater. Dan says, 'I want to see the video, now' at least once an hour. It makes me a little nervous, but I would be lying if I said I'm enjoying the wait to see the finished product.

They sent us some unedited stills from the footage they shot. Here are my two favorites.

Me watching the band on stage:

Speaking of shoots, Josephine and I decided we needed to have an impromptu photo shoot, and Dan jumped at the chance to play photographer. I dare anyone else to try and look this hot on the Tribute house's dirty back porch couches.

Maybe if you're good, I will post some more of them later. Or maybe after I send Josephine the photos, you can ask her nicely.

I can't wait until Adrienne gets down here. There's going to be a serious karaoke jam when she does. We have to kick this house's ass at least a couple more times before Dan and Jason join us up in the region again.

Everything is going to be o.k. I can't see the future, but I know that.
