Opening Night went well
Well...it did..there were surprising a ton of people there. I was just imagining at $75 a person for dinner and a show and there were well over 150 people there...especially for a Thursday.
The other music teacher at my school made a pretty hilarious comment about Opera in Vegas.
"You know how they say Opening Night in New York all the ladies break out their Dior and Armani and huge diamonds and furs and sparkly gowns and everything....well in Vegas the ladies break out their cleavage. Seriously it's like a Playboy cover out there."
And she's like 65....imagine a 65 year old Jewish woman from the East Coast telling it like it is.
I absolutely love her.
