I just found out my cousin died. He was 19, and had been battling a rare genetic brain disease since he was about 6. I remember the fisrt time I went to Poland when I was five, he was still fine. I remeber playin with him and Marcin. I remember wrestling on the wersalka. The second time I went to Poland he was 7, and he had already been diagnosed and you could see he was sick, it was like he was slightly retarted. It got worse and worse over the years, and it was hard to see him that way. This past summer was the last time I saw him. He coulndn't walk, talk or so anything on his own. Ciocia and wujek had to watch him all the time because he was incapaple to be alone. Its like he matured to the age of 6 and then went in reverse, because he was pretty much like a big baby unable to do anything. I guess he was put out of his pain and suffering, but I feel so bad. Its so hard for parents to have to bury their children. I wonder how they're doing. I'd want to call and give them my condolences, but its a super busy time for them right now. Its insane how someone can be fine one day and the next find out that they have only a couple years left to live.

Wieczny odpoczynek racz im dać Panie, a światłość wiekuista niechaj im świeci. Niech odpoczywają w pokoju. Amen.
