Where are the bonus challenge icons? I wasn't even aware there was a bonus one this time around!

no, there wasn't. agent_ofchaos and I decided not to do the bonus challenges anymore due to lack of participation.

it keeps things moving a little more smoothly without them, we're able to move from one challenge to the next without wait :)

Ahh, that's right! It still says "vote in the bonus challenge" in the rules so I forgot!
