Pimp POST. Seriously.
Okay so I finally had the time to watch the EMT ('Elli meets Talent' Check her stuff out on seoulbeats.com, she does great interviews with Asian American Artists!) with 'Seriously The Band'. and after I watched that interview, I looked at their homepage and at their youtube channel and now I just have to pimp these guys a little!
Let's start with a little bit of music! Their first Music Video, Irony:
Yes they sing in English~ XD
Now just a short overview over the history of the band: (and I mean really short XD)
So the four members of 'Seriously' met at a church and formed a band. 2006 they took part in the Asian American Talent Show 'Kollaboration' and won the competition with their song 'Irony' and they signed a contract with 'Chaos Theory Music'. They released an EP called 'Seriously' and a Single 'On your Mark'.
Their producer is Woody Lee, who seems to be an artist himself, and their Manager Gloria Lee both from 'Chaos Theory Music'~
Now on to the members!
There we have Philip Park, 21, the drummer, Joshua Paek, 25, the bassist, Alex the guitarist (who left the group after 6 months) and Chris Phram, 21, the lead singer.
Since Alex left Nathan Park, 21, has joined the group as guitarist.

Here is the first part of 'The Making of Seriously' The Making is 10 Eps long, each Ep between 4-10 minutes long and they are really funny! It's really behind the scenes of recording, the first fotoshooting (and the dress-problems XD) and the first Music Video shoot. The boys are all nice and cute and it's really fun to watch~
And then you should watch the '2Asians 1 Song' because Nathan plays the guitar and the piano, beatbooxes and it's all great and Chris voice is just nice! And sometimes Phil joins Chris with his percussions and drums. Of course, Josh isn't left out either~ XD Sometimes they are pretty dorky here, too~
They cover a few songs, I am sure there's one you like, too! There are too many good ones, but you can simply find them on their youtube channel! ^_^
And this is there 'new' VLOG, 'Seriously Real Life'. Aren't they cute? XD

Fazit!!!
I think these guys are adorable (yes crushing on them already but...how can I help it when they are so shy and cute and dorky and gawd.) and really talented. You can see in their Making that they do take care of their own music, have their own ideas and that's what I think is great. They all seem to have tried more than one instrument. which is great, too. They simply love music and that's awesome.
Interestingly, Josh totally reminds me of Budi from Giga Games, when he wasn't fat, and still young and rather...innocent/serious XD...but still a little dorky XD
And somebody tell me...Chris resembles somebody but WHO? I am like...I know your face but from who? XD Oh, I think I just figured it out...maybe...I think he looks like a Taiwanese guy from my university XD but a little cuter actually XD Or...hm...there gotta be somebody else as well XD
And Nathan...he reminds of somebody as well...
anyways. I like their stuff. So. that's it XD
/EDIT: I forgot to mention that the four guys still go to college, while handling their music career. That's gotta be hard~
