I've been having dreams again, which is good,
this damn computer keeps talking to me rather than actually playing my music, apples are fun to a point then theres that point when they get hella annoying
I havent been creative in a while, which i think is a little odd but not unexpected considering i have been a tad busy. I love reading thei book Ive been reading in public its title in bold letters is "Androgyny: Toward a New Theory of Sexuality" and it has this picture of a woman dressed like Diane Keaton. I find the study of sexuality a veryinteresting thing, not only because it affects me personally but because it is like discovering the ocean, there are new depths new things to know. but aside from that Imayy get the chance to study ancient greek here at UTEP which i am extatic about.
The measure banning gay marriage here in texas was passed yesterday, Im not sure how i feel about it, on the one side i was certain it would pass considering texas' position as one ofthe flagship states of the republican party, but i was rather dissappointed that the opposition didnt show that much interest, i mean a 75 to 25 percent result is rather depressing. sometimes I think maybe all the gay and gay-friendly people should leave the states that have ratified such things and see how they function without oh say the expendable income of most gay people and the artisans and forward thinkers who side with gay issues. But then I think about it again and i realize that may be the wrong thing to do, cuz then it would mean that theyve succeeded in forcing us from our homes, our livlyhoods and our right to live where we choose.
I realized that I love this place, the deser i mean, yeah sure during summer it sucks and is lifeless but when you really think abou it, its the safest place that one can be, aside from drought. The deset has a soul all its own, and there are times that it feels like im back at the coast of the sea, becaus well... it used to be a sea and i think at least a part of that ancient sea sill lives one where water is scarce and life seems to be nonexistant.
