I used to be that same way, but I got tired of the fandom making it seem like you were a bad fan if you didn't like something. I'm glad you like my review. It means something to me. I know older Kame fans have/had great reason to "protect him." The things that I read about and saw/hear on video were ...horrable. I mean fans (most Jin's or Arashi....Arashi thing a huge mess) would yell at him "Die" "We hope you die." "Leave the group." I even read stories where fans would bring knives to kill him! SO I mean YEAH. Then, I guess I can just say everyone kind of got tired of always seeing Kame. I mean the fans didn't hate him or anything. It just was always Kame. And with any time someone is endless tossed in your face, you start to dislike them and say bad things. That's where I guess this all really started. So if you even made a innocent of dislikign something Kame did. You got attacked. Jin fans at the time were kind of the same, but they weren't taking everything personal. BUT there was a huge attack on Kame fans for their personal beliefs about his looks. And still to this day I'm not sorry. Kame himself now says he wasn't in the best of health or weight. Of course their was the Kame and Jin always getting sing, while the other 4 are background dancers, but as time went on that faded with everyone, but Kame fans. I'm hopeful here in a year or two these Kame fans will be gone. I've started to run into more and more Kame fans, who just don't get why the other fans are so stuck on this "prtect him" deal.
...That was a lot. Anyway, as you said, Kame's fans give off a bad reflection of him. I've know a few people who turned into Kame fans, after they took the time to push the fandom to the side. Honestly, I have a love/hate with him. Sometimes I'm totally getting him, the next I'm wanted to got smack him upside the head. He's come off a few times in his interviews saying that just rubbed me the wrong way. The last thing that comes to mind was his bitching about stars using social media. I felt it how he came off was very insulting and he had no place to be as judgemental, just because he couldn't understand the workings of it. ...Stuff like that. Though I have to say, even though he's showen he's uninformed on some things, at less he has the guts to stay his fews on social/world issues which is a huge nono. BTW I have this same love/hate thing with MatsuJun of Arashi, but I dislike more than I do Kame.
Taguchi has a great voice. Honestly I question how they teach the guys to sing, since the others also have great voices, but they always seem to sing in their "not best voices." I get it. How should I put this. Taguchi isn't fake, but he's not allowing others to place him, as to not bring trouble. I guess that's a good way to put it. But at the same time, he's an ass (Koki's words not mine. lol) . I'd like to say that as I dig and learn about his personal life I feel he's the "My work is the only place I don't have to look over my shoulder and I have control" type. So that leads to him being the negitive guy that the guys say he is. I always tell people to go look at
