My review of RUN FOR YOU single album )
So, I got a hold of the Run For You Single and felt like doing a review, since it's been a while since I did one for LJ. Nothing great about it, just a few thoughts. If anything the idea of one's personal taste will play a big part in how people feel about this single overall.
I had this Flist locked, but to hell with it.
Run For You
I loved this song from the moment I heard it. A lot of people bitch about the auto tune, but this is a song where the level of auto tune is just right. The song really grabs you and makes your blood pump. I would be a great song to play while playing something like Paintball or hide and seek. I'm sure many can agree that this is the KAT-TUN sound we want though. OH BTW anyone notice what was missing from this song?

COSMIC CHILD
First thing I thought was "What did Koki just say?" Anyway, I didn't like the sound of music and really for the most I hate it. The honorable W's mix can go back to the hell that it and the Jr outfits came from. The vocal effects are something I'm sure people will dislike. If there is anything I can point out that I do like it's how they say "cosmic child." Right now I really am not sold on his song and it's ranking low on my KAT-TUN list of songs. I doubt it'll grow on me, but yeah.

When I started hearing the snips of this song I wasn't sold, but after watching them perform it and sitting hear hearing the whole song, I can say I like it. Maybe if they lose the opening so it doesn't sound like a NES game music, but then again I could see this as a RPG song. Anyway, I really like the way the song. BUT really WTF is up with the lyrics " Now it's a battle in 1844" ? That part just stands out a lot. Oh well.

It started nice, but I don't like the clap beat or whatever it's called. Huh? ...Wait? *Goes back* KOKI SINGING?! *Dies*

OK, I'm back. I wasn't ready for that. Can I just say the music sure is loud. Who ever did the editing should've thought about that. Really it's a fair song. I enjoy listening to it, but other then Koki singing, it's kind of average.

VENUSSWEET CHAIN ATTACK!!!
So...The song starts off nicely, but then those damn high notes I hate start to show up and don't stop. These guys DO NOT NEED TO SING LIKE THIS! I HATE IT! *KILLS KAME,KOKI and Ueda* If anything, Maru's sexy voice is the only thing that got me through this song. Nice Job on the high note there Guchi. Overall I can only hope that hearing this song live it might sound better.
