So Jesse asked me to marry him last night.
Of course, I said yes. YAY!!
If I can manage to take a half-way decent picture of the ring, I'll think about posting it. That's easier said than done at the moment, though. It certainly makes sitting on the couch in my pajamas and eating Cheerios (my current activity and location) look a lot classier.
I'm going to make this promise right now, though...I promise not to be "one of those" brides. I will not become so preoccupied with planning that it becomes all that I talk about. I will not be a bridezilla.
In other, non-matrimonial news we were in Wal-Mart yesterday looking for food and Halloween candy for the kiddies. So we went down the Seasonal Aisle...y'know, the one with the "seasonal" items. It was surprising that not only did we not find any Halloween candy on said aisle, but there was CHRISTMAS CANDY in full effect down there. We finally found some bags of candy near the door, but not until we also went and investigated the Christmas Wing of the store (which was also in full effect). WTF, people...I love Christmas as much as anyone, but c'mon!
