I promise a big update post soon (with pictures and everything) that shows where I've been hiding from everyone this semester. However, right now I'm just too exhausted to do anything more than lay down and watch tv. Today's just been too much for me.

I've been having my fair share of health problems this semester, ranging from stomach problems to simple colds and the flu. Yesterday and today, however, were just horrible even for me.

Yesterday afternoon, I was sitting around working on my laptop when my right side just exploded in this terrible pain. I seriously thought that my appendix or my kidney had just exploded. For the rest of the afternoon and night, the level of pain just kind of rose and fell in waves and spent most of that time just laying in bed. Finally went to sleep around midnight because I had to get up at 6am this morning for my Embedded Systems presentation. I was just hoping that I would feel better by then. I promised Jesse and Brett that I would go to the Health Center this afternoon if it didn't.

So I awoke about a quarter after 6 this morning, and there was no more pain. Yay for no pain. I wandered off to use the bathroom, then came back to get dressed. As I was lifting my nice shirt off of the hanger, I was seized with a crippling pain that made me crumple to the floor. My entire abdomin was on FIRE. This was a different kind of pain from last night, but it was in infinitely worse one. I just kind of stayed where I was for a few minutes, forced to move only when I was hit by an overwhelming wave of nausea. I hobbled to the bathroom and stayed there for a while, but did not vomit.

Anyway, I had to be in Simrall(all the way across campus) at 7am to help set up for my presentation, so I knew I had to give moving. I hobble/crawled back to my room and got dressed at gingerly as I could...I had to sit down after I put on each piece of clothing. After I had dressed, I called Caitlin (one of my super-cool team members) and asked her if she would pick me up because I knew I was in no shape to walk.

With the resolve that I would soldier on until after the presentation and hobble to the Health Center (which is luckily right next door to Simrall) straight after, I went to set up. When the time came to present, we were all ready to go...then our professor didn't even bother showing up. We found out later that he was sick...*sighs*

Anyway, I went over to the Health Center and secured a 10am appointment. I got there at 10am and poked, prodded, questioned, and subjected to any number of tests (urine, blood, pelvic). I was there for an hour and a half....and at the end of the hour and a half all the doctor could say was "There's something wrong with you, but I don't know what"...*sigh*. So I left there with instructions to eat a bland diet, drink water, take tylenol for the pain...if it gets worse, I'm to go straight to the ER...if I don't get better, I'm to go back tomorrow to be reexamined.

Wow, that was exhausting.

Anyway, tomorrow I'll update with pictures of the project that I've been working on for the entire semester (the demo from today) and tell what's been going on.

All for now.
