A bond between two people!

A pactio is something you share with a partner, allowing them to unlock abilities while you get protection, backup, or assistance as a mage.

You get one by creating a certain circle, and then performing the kiss inside it!

So... anyone can get this pactio thing, just by having a magic circle and a kiss? And what decides what power you get?

As far as the power, I think it has something to do with your personality, but I'm not sure.

based on personality? Hmm, so yours would be healing, cause you care for others Except when you were in your demon form, then it was all mouth lasers and for setsuna, would be more offensive huh? I guess mine would be offencive.

How do your pactio powers manifest themselfs, though chants, an item?

Well, both you and the person you kiss get a card, both are of the ministra--the one who is the assistant to the mage.

The power of the pactio manifests throughout that card. You can summon your artifact (with an Adeat!), or your partner can summon you (or communicate to you as well). You can also desummon the artifact with an Abeat and restore it back into a card.

Fun, huh?

The mouth lasers were cool! :(

So Setsuna is your partner, but you also have a card as well right? Who's partner are you?

Adeat, Abeat... May I see this card thing in action? Like Show me your weapon, and summon setsuna here, if you can.

He's a cute and powerful mage. I miss him, though, he's not here.

I unfortunately forget how to summon people with the card. But I can show you mine. *She activates her card with an "Adeat!" and she is now in elaborate Kansai robe, holding paper fans.*

Wow even your cloths changed. Thats some high level magaic. The formulas for that must be pretty intense. So your fans can heal people huh? What you just blow healing wind on them?

Pretty much how it works.

I can heal without it, but I either have to use a once-a-day megaspell or the wound must be younger than three minutes. The fans are less exhausting!

So, if someone say, chops off my hand, if its less then three minutes old, or you use your megaspell, you can fix it? Seems very useful. But for other, smaller injures, you use the fans?

Did you only get this magic power because of the pactio? or did you have some power before?

Hmmm, it's more like the fans make it EASIER for me to do my healing.

I've apparently always had this strong power, but until I got kidnapped and Negi-kun and Secchan saved me, I've never really tapped into it. That one time I saved Secchan after she got skewered was all emotion

So you were born a healer, but your powers grow after the pactio huh? I knew a born healer. She wanted to heal everyone she met, and it often ended with her tiring herself out. I hope you overdo it.

Hmm, this may seem a bit rude to ask, but anyway way I can try this, pactio thing? just the thought of it stengthing my magic powers intrigues me.

Errmmm... It's kinda impossible without a pactio circle, and I don't know how to make one.

Negi-kun's pet Chamo knows how to make one, but he's not here.

And Secchan would be jealous if I kissed someone else, even if she doesn't act like it

Oh well, I guess its not possible. Maybe that Negi kid or Chamo will be pulled here, then I might be able to get that pactio.

She needs that jealusy though, might knock out that shyness she has...
