So my funding package just got cut in half. Ugh. I'm now 1. really, really reliant on getting an Ontario Graduate Scholarship this year, and 2. going to apply for a ton of extracurricular jobs (at the university, of course---not eligible to work elsewhere).
This will be liveable, but it will not be fun. More importantly, it means that I'll be writing my diss without the benefit of England-based research, because the Wellcome no longer funds international PhD candidates.
