my dog ate my thermometer

My pup was mad at me for not paying attention to him and proceeded to take my thermometer off my nightstand and destroy it. I bought it so long ago, that I can't remember where I got it. I went to Target and bought their basal thermometer and got home to find it only goes to one decimal point. I'm kind of annoyed that it only goes to one decimal point and kind of want to take it back. But before I do, do any of you use this thermometer or one like it and get accurate charts? I always thought it needed to go to two decimal points to be accurate.

Help me decide whether to keep it or buy another one. If you think I should buy another one, where did you find yours that goes to two decimal points? I also checked Walmart to no avail.......

ETA: Just found my copy of TCOYF and it says to use one accurate to 1/10th, but DON'T use 1/100th because it is unnecessary and confusing. I guess I'll keep this one! Thanks for all your help!
