I've been charting my body temps since September. I just got off of hormonal birth control (three years on Depo-provera, one year on Yaz and one on Yasmin) in August and wanted to start getting to know my cycle better since that was going to be the only birth control my husband and I use.
In September, October and November my cycles ran about 22 days with a luteal cycle of 7-10 days. In December the cycle shifted. The cycle was about 17 days long. It began on Dec 11 and the next on the 26th. Then in January the cycle went back to 22 days. Next was a 20 day cycle then back down to a 17 day cycle. The luteal phases shifted between 7-10 days to 4-6 days.
Could the hormones from birth control still be affecting my cycles or can anyone think of another reason my cycles keep flip-flopping? I had never kept track of my cycle before I was on BC so I have nothing to compare it to. My husband and I aren't trying ttc yet but plan on it within the next three years. I'm hoping to get a better handle on what's going on with my bits now so later I won't have to start learning everything from scratch. :)
Thank you!
