Post Nuvaring spotting

Nuvaring has totally been killing my libido and I am tired of it. I am almost done with grad school and in a long term relationship so even though I do not want to get pregnant now, I am ok with the slightly lower effective rate of FAM. This is my first month off of Nuvaring ( Read more... )

You and I are pretty much in the same boat. My last period started November 10th, and this is my first cycle off the BCP.

It has been pretty difficult for me to do the temps consistently. I have remembered to do them every day, it's just that the timing isn't good. Some mornings I get up at 9:30, and some mornings 6:30. So, I haven't been able to detect ovulation yet. But then again, I may not even ovulate this cycle!

My biggest concern right now is not being able to predict my period yet. :(

TCOYF is a great book. I'm about halfway through it now. It's HUGE. But very helpful.

I have an alarm set for the time I wake up on my early days that I leave on all the time. I temp and then go back to sleep if I can.

Its not that I don't get up at the same time, because I do. But the fact I have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night at different times.

my husband gets up the same time everyday, when he gets up I take my temp. On the weekends I do sleep in, but I take it whenever I get wake up. I never seem to have any major problems.

I was actually replying to what the person above me in the thread said about waking up at different times. :) Sorry for the confusion!

No worries. I wish I had that sleeping in ability... I have always been a morning person despite my attempts at sleeping in.

I am the total opposite of a morning person. I have a hard time getting out of bed anytime before noon!
Sometimes I don't even remember waking up to take my temperature. I only know it happened because it's entered into my chart already!

Also, I would say that if your temps are pretty consistent, they're probably reliable.
I know when *I* don't get three hours of sleep beforehand, mine are all over the place, it's crazy.

I do the same thing that carriekate said. My alarm always goes off at 6am. Some days I get up, most days I go back to sleep until I really need to get up for work or whatnot.

Yeah, I have forgotten a few days too, but am using condoms all the time until I get stuff figured out and my cycle is more regular.
Yeah I read part of TCOYF at Barnes and Noble a couple weeks ago, but didn't have the money to buy it.
