The main office at work mostly mutes sound from outside and from the inside, but at the end of the second episodes of Parks and Recreation I made a noise that made someone walking by outside turn around and glance through the window in concern. Shook a little with joy, I think. Grabbed at my face and maybe sobbed melodramatically.

Ben/Leslie has actually made me a little nostalgic for Jim/Pam and Fancy New Beesly and I've been having a bit of a mini-marathon of good Jim/Pam moments from season two of The Office (which I consider to be one of the most perfect seasons of any television show ever), and yeah. There are so many feelings. Ben and Leslie are bullshit free and I love that about them, how straightforward everything is and no drama and hearts in their eyes and all of that, but I still can't get over Jim Halpert's parking lot love confession and Pam Beesly's sad eyes, and Ben and Leslie are perfect but Jim and Pam are ~epic. I think I actually love them sort of equally, but Jim and Pam just hit me so much harder.

ANYWAY. Shipping Ben/Leslie has turned into kind of an ordeal for me because I'm coming to this fandom off a very extended stay in Sheldon/Penny land and WHAT IS SHIPPING A CANON COUPLE? HOW DO YOU DO THAT? I FORGET. I want to write fic but I'm so bad at having to stay in canon so I'm just spitballing weird AUs where they're camp counselors or ACTUAL PIONEERS because I am apparently a crazy person. Or one where they're all in a band STOP WITH THE BANDFIC ALLISON THIS IS A DISEASE.

tl;dr, I am obviously in no way, shape, or form indifferent about this show. IT IS MY FAVORITE.
