I've been too lazy to update these days, so here's wishing everyone a (late but) very merry christmas! :)
Christmas eve lunch with sam. :) my dear old friend, haha and then some walking around orchard desperately trying to find really last minute gifts. dinner with the family which was a very pleasant and funny affair, with photos, but too lazy to download them into the com yet. Though not everyone was there, but the bulk was and simple games were hilarious watching the adults gamely play along. christmas day visiting a new church- which was sort of strange I guess, and not really anything memorable. But meeting up with mom's old friends + their kids was strange, they all look so diff now (with the exception of the one I always see in school), so I guess I'll look even strange/and more unfamiliar to them- the last I saw the 3rd kid was when she was a baby, and the 4th kid is in p2 now! Lunch @ tiongbahru market which has the best desserts then dinner with jy. And united square has changed so much I felt so strange and ________ (i forgot the word). Cold storage is there but every thing else, it's simply unrecognisable.
well ok I guess the highlight of christmas is/was always the eve dinner party. But nonetheless, it still made my christmas. :) with some other smaller things & meetups with friends, and the pre-christmas dinner with the other side of the family. This year, though it isn't really the full-blown christmas with all the works, but christmas is still my favourite festival. :) Even though school is coming back already- in one week's time no less.
Today I passed by funan's coffeebean and saw the boy from a tuition class I teach! :) Pleasant surprise. And borrowed and heckload of books from nat library, and got a semi-super-small-gift for db (who is in M'sia!) This is really disjointed and I'm still waiting for Pizza to be delivered. :(
Hope you all had a pleasant and enjoyable christmas as well. Thanks for all the cards and gifts, fully appreciated though perhaps not voiced. :)
