so i thought i'd update and let you all know how fucking awesome the stones were!!!!! i had originally asked richie because he got me into the good rolling stones and i don't know anyone that likes the stones as much as he does but he couldn't go. it upset me because i thought he'd be the perfect person to go with but oh well. instead my friend blake went. i drunkenly asked him if he'd drive and he was really excited. the day of the show i woke up pukey hung over and very unenthused that i was going with blake and not someone i was close to but he turned out to be a great part of the trip. i know him through poker so i didn't know very much about his personality but he's a goofball! definitely someone you want to be with on a road trip. so we got to wichita and "tailgated" with some guys that were running a bbq truck. they had 3 smokers and the hot dogs were great. we shared our beer with em and then walked to the stadium. it was so fucking great. they played honky tonk women, jumpin jack flash, brown sugar, under my thumb, and sympathy for the devil to name a few of my favorites. they played a lot from their first album and some other classics to round out a two hour set. the stage was fucking huge and at one point it detached and went to the middle of the field. fireworks, pyrotechnics, and a huge screen. hands down the biggest production i'd ever been to. and i have no doubt that they will all live another 20 years. they're so active and full of life. I LOVE MICK AND RONNIE! holy shit. haha.

in other news!! this is very excited.... we now have a 5th room mate! making rent 108.30 and bills about 40-60! holy shit! not to mention this 5th room mate is non other than Amina! I love my house so much right now. Amina and I went grocery shopping today and she made green bean casserole and later tonight is planning on making lentil soup. she's going to be the greatest room mate ever!
