Writer's Block: Most memorable concert
My most memorable concert must be the first real concert I ever attended.
It was actually an one-day festival called Pier Pressure which me & my friend was going to attend together. But she decided upon taking a trip to Scottland instead so my only company on the festival was my own father.
The bands who was playing and that I was interrested in seeing was My Chemical Romance, Billy Talent, CKY, The Sounds, Mando Diao and April Divine. I catched them all!
Now, why was this really memorable? Well, it was my first time ever seeing such big names and the fact that MCR was playing , just that fact, made it impossible for me to eat anything the day before. I was WAY nervous that something would screw up and they wouldn't show up in the end. Since me & my family had traveled by train for 10 hours I didn't really wanna miss out on something like that.
The bands were great! But the things I remember the most from the gig was the tears that fell everywhere around me then MCR performed Cancer. Emotional much!? It's such a beautiful song, it really is. The second thing was when Gerard Way, singer of MCR, was going to give some cred to the other bands that had played before them. Swedish band Mando Diao seemed to be a hard one to pronounce since he said "Mano Daiiooo" and I was all.. "o.o' wtf?"
Not MCR neither Billy Talent has played here since then and I kind of glad for that. Because there's no way that I would have been able to go see them again! Expensiveeee..
