So I spent a large portion of Sunday in Guelph General Hospital's emergency room. I was taken there by some concerned friends (
daunicorn and
liquidrick) when I came down with the shivers and a mighty fever. They ran a bunch of tests to figure out what was wrong with me. Eventually they determined that I had a chest infection. They gave me some antibiotics through IV and sent me home with a prescription. I have spent most of the day resting and recovering. I will probably spend most of tomorrow recovering. I really have to thank
daunicorn sticking with me till I got out of the hospital and giving me a lift back to KW.
On another note a while back
idavale had suggested The Toastmasters as a method of improving my public speaking skills. I finally got information about the Kitchener-Waterloo group. They apparently meet weekly at a location in the RIM buildings in Waterloo on Tuesday nights. I will definitely consider looking into going. Though not tomorrow night because I will be recovering.
