Weekend Sunshine and Raining Morning
The rain was pouring down like nobody's business this morning. Even with my umbrella I was soaked by the time I reached the bus stop. Then I was waiting for a few minutes while the bus came. It hasn't rained this hard in KW in a while (or at least not that I have noticed).
On Friday I played in a super hero game being ran by a friend of mine. The game had some players in whom I had gamed with in the pass. One was a guy named Paul (played the Brujah Mr. Graves in TC) and Dave (played the Tzmisce Tekomir in FA). My character is named Prism has a body made out of crystal and can fire laser beams. It was an incredibly campy game and many jokes were made. I had a blast and many laughs.
On Saturday was another game of WBN. I went earlier for the chance to socialize with people. Game was pretty good except for the lower turnout (around 20 people) due to it being the middle of summer. I am having a lot of fun being caught in the middle of a political conflict between the Prince and one of the rivals for his throne. His contender is trying very hard to court my character as an ally. It is very refreshing to see the politics in this game since the other game I am currently in and the Guelph games I played in had pretty much no real politicking. Afterwards as usual we headed to Mel's and there was conversation. Two of the topics were right up my ally, those topics were Napoleon and M*A*S*H.
Sunday was just a day of relaxing and reading A Feast for Crows, which is a pretty good book.
