Pleasant Gaming Surprise
Last nights session of WbN was a pleasant gaming surprise. Last week a bunch of the players got together and gave some feedback to the Storytellers. Well last nights session proved that they put a fair amount of that feedback into play.
They added a few people to the ST - one person as an downtimes narrator, another person as a plots narrortor and another as a character generation narrator. The additional personal resulted in them being much more organized and prepared for game then they were in the pass. They were prepared and ready to do sign in for the game at around 7:00 pm. They introduced several plot threads into the game which gave pretty much everyone something to do during the game. Ironically enough the player turnout seemed to be about 30 players higher then it has recently.
As a result I saw almost everyone leaving the game with smiles on their faces and talking about how much fun they had. In addition everyone game the Storytellers a sincere thank you for the game. After the game when a large portion of the player cast went to Mel's Diner for food there was planty of talk of how enjoyable the game was. It seems that almost everyone left game happy.
On a personal note my character became the Daeva Priscus last night and was given his second dot of status. I am very happy with the success since it is something that was kind of alien to me in Guelph LARPs.
