Working Portraits 2

May 20, 2008 18:05

A different approach to working people. These were originally displayed with handmade frames, constructed out of old pieces or trim and molding. The peeling paint and weathered wood added to the presentation.

James is a homeless man who works full time at the yard. He lives on a rock pile half a mile down the pier.

Bill is a musician who also works at the yard. Bill cannot contain his creativity, and as a result, having a conversation with him is like herding cats.

I don't know what Paul does. He always buys joist hangers and brings us donuts.

Robert works up the road in one of the boat yards.
