we are fucked, as more and more it seems like obama may be w jr.
the g8 wants to cut greenhouse emissions by %50 percent by 2050. this is assuming, that we aren't living in waterworld and drinking our own piss by then.
in the impending youtube/google vs. viacom lawsuit, the judge has ordered that the site reveal all of the user names and IP addresses for EVERY SINGLE copyrighted video on the website. essentially this means that everyone is being watched by viacom now. it's an estimated 12 terabytes of data, the equivalent of about 12 million books.

for my shoe lovers/collectors, two awesome new shoes are on the horizon:

except if you're not a rapper, you probably won't be able to get a pair. but it's still pretty cool that they are doing it. cooler if they had waited and released them in 2015.

important skincare news: a new study from Environmental Working Group illustrates that a large percentage of sunscreens (even those with spf 30 or higher) are ineffective at blocking UVA rays and may not give the UVB protection listed on the bottle. here's a list of the study's top recommendations for for those that do work.
those looking for coffee fixes at starbucks in the future may have to look a bit harder as the chain is closing 600 stores within the next year. so they will only be on every other corner.
toyota's prius may be getting even greener, as the car maker plans to install
improv everywhere uses twins to create a mirror effect on a subway in new york. watch what happens.
