who'd have thought that hanes underwear would ever be controversial? their new campaign for tagless underwear tries to promote the concept of not needing another label by illustrating men carrying around sort of label monsters with words like "faggot", "nigger", and "paki".
what do you think? innovative or offensive?
in other, less offensive news, the uber fabulous karl lagerfeld has his own diet coke butler and will be a featured dj in the upcoming grand theft auto IV. i guess he's still doing his part to appeal to the gay violent video game playing bunch. good times.
as they do for atheletes and academically gifted students, many colleges are now starting to try and garner the attentions of GLBT students in gay-centered college fairs. the schools promote their GLBT organizations, majors, and other features that would appeal to students, as more and more begin to come out in high school instead of in college, which was more common a decade or so ago.
interesting interview with the adorable bryan fuller (pushing daises, wonderfalls, dead like me). he's the king of television that is brilliant but gets cancelled to quickly. he was also one of the writers who brought the whole "gay friend of the cheerleader which eventually got fucked over by the network" on heroes.

bloom and efron are out of talks to play the prince of persia, now gyllenhaal is in.
and yes, fast and furious FOUR is in the works, with much of the original cast no less. the only good news about this development is the opportunity to see paul walker with his shirt off.
