heroes news

alias fans rejoice:SARK (david anders) makes his triumphant return to television on heroes next season. all we know so far is that anders will play a character named Kane who is 1000 years old.

claire gets a 'cool' new boyfriend next season, too. i'm thinking ice/water power of some sort.

other additions to the heroes cast next season include:

callisto from X3

indian actress Aishwarya Rai

the newly crowned miss universe is also vying for a part on the hit nbc show.

battlestar galactica news

watch here and here as the stars of battlestar galactica talk about what's going on for the show's fourth and (sadly) final season.

and because no heroes post is complete without some hot, gay, sylar action, here you are:

other tv/movie news

ROBOT CHICKEN STAR WARS aired this past sunday and it was rather funny. you can watch the entire show for free on the star wars website. be sure to check out the behind the scenes stuff, too.

no, this is not a new gilmore girls project, but rather it is the mock title that production for the HIGHLYOMGSOEXCITED batman sequel, the dark knight. (thanks kefitzat)(lucky bastard has the dark knight people filming right outside his workplace in chicago.)

while this film is not slated to come out until summer 2008, the buzz behind it is already huge, thanks to a katie-free cast and some clever viral marketing campaigns.

lots of newness for this film:

new and improved batsuit

batcycle

maggie gyllenhaal replacing katie holmes and aaron eckhart as harvey dent

the joker's new car (this might be a fake though)

and here is the teaser for pixar's next animated project "WALL• E":

"WALL• E" is the saddest, tiny robot you’ve ever seen, he is a garbage collector on a flat, empty planet. The cute little robot has faithfully done his job for 700 years, but never found his true purpose... until now.
