(no subject)
i am seriously really loving just being in love with fall and chilly days. i made a huge pot of chedder corn chowder last night and filled the tummies of my wonderful america's next top model watching party. then today was soup day at work! some of our coworkers suprised us with crockpots full of yummy soups. in case you can't tell soup makes my days totally better!
some things i am really excited about....
+accupunture is going really wonderfully
+ a three day weekend to get things in order
+ cleaning my house and getting rid of lots of things
+ apple tasting on saturday at the portland nursery (hopefully with you!)

on october 12th, you are all invited to join me and my lovely co-hostess katy to take over my basement for a fall swap! i think it's a good excuse to start clearing out our houses before we start the usual winter nesting. and we can celebrate my favorite season with some fall treats!
it will be fat friendly (allies are also very much encouraged!). i would love to have a big broad range of clothes available for swapping, but also accessories, housewares, art supplies, books, etc! a swap for everything with no size or style restrictions!
your unwated christmas gift or outfit that has been collecting dust could become someone else's dream...or a gift for their best friend! and you can get a start on your winter purging and cleaning while drinking some apple cider and fall themed treats with some lovely people.
there will also be a white elephant gift exchange! for no other reason than i love a gift exchange and it will be fun! basically, there is no need to go out and buy anything, but just grab something awesome out of your stash of "things you do not really need anymore" and wrap it up. we will then draw numbers and play that silly game like at christmas where we take turns opening up suprises!
