So, it's exam week. I've had 3 exams yesterday (Monday) and one today. Two more to go, one on Thursday and one on Friday. I've never been so ready for a break in my life. It will be refreshing. I hope all of my fellow MU students and other college friends are doing ok ... hang in there, it's almost over.
I've lost 12 freaking pounds in two weeks. How? I think it's from drinking more water and less Pepsi. I could be wrong though, I don't know. I just know I've lost 12 freaking pounds, it's pretty crazy stuff.
Well, I'm watching the O'Reilly factor and on his show is a game that allows you to assassinate JFK. Now, of course I wasn't around during President Kennedy's time in office, and from just reading about him and through courses ect., I haven't formed the best of opinions of his Presidency. With that said, this does not change the fact that his man was once the President of this great country and should be respected. His death is not something to relive, much less use this as some sort of entertainment and money making tool. This is disgusting. Sure, there are plenty of video games that are violent, and yes, there are even war games that take place in historic situations, but this game is different. JFK was a real man, and his assassination actually occurred ... in no way shape or form should this tragedy be used to entertain or make money. Of course, there are people that want to play this tasteless game, but I ask all of you individuals that are game lovers ... please do not support this, what-so-ever.
I've got a few questions that maybe someone can answer for me because I'm quite confused. There is huge controversy going on right now concerning Christianity and God in general. First of all, there is a school that is banning the declaration of Independence because it mentions God. Are you kidding me? The declaration of Independence ... being banned from a school? This is a sad situation. Individuals with a bitter vendetta against the Christian faith, and yes ... don't act like it's anything more than just that, are compromising some of the greatest documents every authored for the sake of their panties being in a wad. How disrespectful can you freaking be? The men who signed that document signed their death warrants. The men that signed that document are heros, and legends. Ban the declaration of independence? Ok, fine ... The supreme court BETTER be in session during Christmas AND Easter. Christmas and Easter are not some sort of Holiday adopted or taken over by us "evil Christians", it's a Christian holiday celebrating the birth of our Savior and His resurrection. So, if one of our great historical documents that happen to include God is to be banned, so should the holiday, so go to work government officials. Go to work supreme court justices who rule in favor of the banning. Go to work those of you who enjoy the day off during Christmas and Easter. Go to work ... obviously ... it's not your holiday.
Cheap shot of the day:
Every single last individual who supports removing God from our history yet, supports the day off during Christmas and Easter ... you're contradicting hypocrites.
That is the cheap shot of the day
