Everyone remembers Sandy Berger right? You know, the Kerry adviser that smuggled top secret CIA documents out this past summer? Well, for those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about let me explain.
Sandy Berger, an individual that was a Kerry adviser put top secret documents in his pants and socks to sneak them out ... these are highly important terrorism documents that should of been handed into the 9/11 commission. So obviously it was not in Kerry's interest to have those used.
It just so happens Kerry has recently attacked Bush about the lack of agents in the FBI to translate thousands of hours of terror tapes. Well, what Kerry didn't add is this was a situation warned about during the CLINTON ADMINISTRATION by Richard Clarke. And there is more, the documents Sandy Berger tried to dispose of ... were documents reveling that Richard Clarke warned Clinton about the lack of FBI translators to translate these documents. Hmmm ... Now lets look what else Kerry has to say ...
Kerry Said Terrorism Is A Law Enforcement Issue Like Prostitution And Gambling That Can Be "Reduced" But Not Ended. "When I asked Kerry what it would take for Americans to feel safe again, he displayed a much less apocalyptic worldview. 'We have to get back to the place we were, where terrorists are not the focus of our lives, but they're a nuisance,' Kerry said. 'As a former law-enforcement person, I know we're never going to end prostitution. We're never going to end illegal gambling. But we're going to reduce it, organized crime, to a level where it isn't on the rise. It isn't threatening people's lives every day, and fundamentally, it's something that you continue to fight, but it's not threatening the fabric of your life.'"
(Matt Bai, "Kerry's Undeclared War," The New York Times Magazine, 10/10/04)
Kerry Advisor Richard Holbrooke Doesn't Think We're At War. HOLBROOKE: "'We're not in a war on terror, in the literal sense,' says Richard Holbrooke, the Clinton-era diplomat who could well become Kerry's secretary of state. 'The war on terror is like saying 'the war on poverty.' It's just a metaphor.'"
(Matt Bai, "Kerry's Undeclared War," The New York Times Magazine, 10/10/04)
In January 2004, Kerry Said: "[W]ar On Terror Is Far Less Of A Military Operation And Far More Of An Intelligence-Gathering, Law-Enforcement Operation."
(The Iowa Brown & Black Coalition Presidential Forum, Des Moines, IA, 1/11/04)
In September 2003, Kerry Said The War On Terror Was "Far More Of A Law Enforcement" Than "Military" Operation. "[I]t is important to fight terror abroad. And would I rather fight terror abroad than here in this country. But the fight against terror is far more of a law enforcement and intelligence operation than it is a day-to-day huge military operation."
(MSNBC's "Hardball," 9/8/03)
In June 2002, Kerry Said War On Terror Rhetoric "Is Overblown," And Should "Fundamentally" Focus On Law Enforcement. "[W]hat I think all of us need to focus on is the fact that the rhetoric of this war is overblown in some ways and not focused properly in others. This is not a war as we have known it. This is not a war in which there's a front-line or the troops are going out every day on control. This is fundamentally an intelligence operation and the law enforcement operation and a diplomatic operation." (NBC's "Meet The Press," 6/23/02)
Ok, so it's clear John Kerry considers this a law enforcement issue. I seem to recall another President calling Bin Ladin's threat a "law enforcement issue", while dealing with his impeechment trial ... months later Jets flew into buildings.
His recent quotes though make me sick ... Pushing terrorism down to a nuisance? Is he serious, a nuisance? I hardly call the threat it poses as a "nuisance". The man that would be on his administration doesn't even consider this a war. Do we really want individuals so ignorant to the threat we are handed to be running our country? A nuisance? wow ...
Then you have his wife. Yeah, it's been a while since she's opened her mouth but she's back spitting off stupidity like always. She actually said that her husband would not send soldiers to war for oil. Does she really believe that? If so she has just fallen into the ridiculous Michael Moore way way way extreme far left propaganda stupidity. Going to war for oil? Thats what you usually hear celebrities and a lot of these anarchist counter culture individuals who are stuck in the 60s era ... as if it's the right thing to do. There is no question ... Kerry and his wife are morons. One doesn't think we can win the war on terror and the other things we're in Iraq for oil ... "you picked a crack team chief".
