AHHHHHHH MICHELLE, THIS IS SO GR8!!!!!!!!

Omg B A S I C A L L Y about Lou being divorced!!! LIKE THIS IS TV OK YOU CAN'T PLAY US BY NOT WEARING A RING. And you can't just drop that on us in the last few episodes of the season either when we've developed this headcanon already!!! So yeah, wow totally divorced hahaha.

ANYWAY lol ugh Michelle, I just love this so mu-uh-uch! I reaaaaaally love that you went with this structure because holy hell it works SO WELL with the mirroring and the way that each part flows and joins together from one couple to the next - I especially loved the hand off (ha!) from Lou's hands on Augie to Reg's on Jane, just AUGH amazing. And your prose! GORGEOUS, as always.

Maybe Lou is something Augie always has in his head and the sheer amount of beer he has consumed in the last hour alone is enough to crystalize that thought into some undeniably vital fact about his life. It’s the sort of revelation he thinks he’s going to forget come morning and come sobriety, but in this moment, in this space of time, in Lou’s kitchen with the yellow tile floor and the Virgin Mary on the refrigerator and Lou grumbling under his breath as he rearranges dirty cereal bowls to make room for his dirty coffee mugs in his dishwasher, it’s the most obvious and the most important, most urgent realization ever.

U G H. God this whole scene is so perfect!!! I also LOVE that they're watching basketball, ahahaha idr if that's something we discussed before but that's totally my headcanon, that they watch bball together and drink beer and then MAKE OUT so yeah gurl you hit this perfectly for me.

And Jane/Reg!!! Reading their parts I was just marvelling at how I can totally hear their voices in my head, her scorn, “Anyone who has ever met you. Jesus,” the way they fight, that the unspoken threat between them is a kiss. SO. GOOD. And the last part!!! P A R F A I T .

Wow I hope that was coherent LOL I AM REALLY GOING TO SLEEP NOW IT IS 8AM. This was seriously the best Christmas present hahaha, LOVE YOU!!!!!!
