Oh, my sweet summer child! What do you know about fear?
†
Fear is for the winter, when the snows fall a hundred feet deep; fear is for the Long Night, when the sun hides for years and children are born and live and die all in darkness.
That is the time for fear . . .
The world has ended.
The dead have risen.
All that remains are the seven states of Westeros, protected by The Wall to the North. But winter is coming, and with it the promise of The Others, and the threat the last Targaryens, exiled to the nuclear waste beyond the Narrow Sea, shall resurrect their father's company, D.R.A.G.O.N. Corp. -- the source of these feared White Walkers.
The key to survival is The Iron Throne -- a cache of resources and weapons once hidden deep beneath King's Landing, the former seat of power of Robert Baratheon, the war hero who fought off the first wave of the undead. Now, King Bob is dead, King's Landing burns, and the summer has ended. Rather than band together, in-fighting amongst the various survivors ensues, each playing the other to ensure they make it through the long winter.
For in this game of survival, you win or you die -- or perhaps there is a middle ground:
The dead come back for more.
WINTER IS COMING
Believing his father is dead in the burnt remains of the capital, Robb Stark leaves his young brothers in the northern bunker, Winterfell, as he and Theon Greyjoy embark south to avenge Ned Stark's death and go for The Iron Throne themselves. Meanwhile, Ned Stark is alive and well, having made it through the Battle for King's Landing against The Others, and has taken to the road with fellow survivor (and enemy) Cersei Lannister, King Bob's widow, and her surprising sharpshooting skills. Her twin brother Jaime has been lost in the Riverlands to Robb Stark's roving army, and younger brother Tyrion has been taken hostage by Ned's wife Catelyn who plans to seek refuge at her sister's stony keep. Catelyn and Ned's daughters have been considered casualties of the King's Landing disaster, but both have survived -- Arya thrown in with a gang of young military recruits headed to The Wall where her half-brother Jon waits, while Sansa has been taken in by a slippery former politician, known simply as Littlefinger.
Amidst these adventures, ally and foe will be encountered alike -- the Lightning Lord, the heroine of Tarth, King Bob's brothers, the red priestess and her cult following who claims she knows how to defeat the White Walkers -- all while the remaining heirs to the Targaryen corporation, Daenerys and Viserys, amass power on the other side of the Narrow Sea, in the parched and nuked forgotten desert.
*porn is also a key plot point, obvs.
