So I was just going to read a couple sections because I have this writing project I wanted to start, and then I thought I'd read just one more, and then before I knew it I was done. This was fantastic. You nailed the characters, the imagery was gorgeous, the nonlinear progression dreamlike and perfect for the story you had to tell. I especially loved the POV-switch you had going there -- I am such a sucker for second person.
