Dear. God. How in love with Lost am I?

Awesome. Just plain awesome.

I loved the first five minutes. I mean, how creepy was that? They open up on Stepford Wives/ Leave it to Beaver neighborhood and burnt muffins and a pretentious book club...and a plane crash. How freaking cool?

I like Juliet. I know there are going to be legions of people that don't like her and blah, blah blah, but yeah. I like her a lot. She seems (dare I say it) normal. And I really like her interactions with Jack. So if the powers that be are going to take the J/J route, I'm down with it. And I want to know what her deal is with Ben (and does that name fit or what? Though, I have to say, I liked him nameless a whole lot more. Gave him a creepier edge).

Jack's flashbacks bore me. They always have. I get it. He has daddy issues. His marriage is fucked. He's a stubborn, perfectionist hell bent on fixing the world and destroying himself. But I like mentally anguished Jack trapped in an aquarium.

Um, so the whole dress thing? Lame. I'm a little disappointed with the whole reasoning behind it, though I am positively intrigued as to what's to come that's so terrible in the next two weeks or whatever he said. And Ben calling her on the whole 'you said Sawyer first' thing? My fangirly, shippery heart about exploded! Eek. She's worried about him. And then their whole moment where they lock her up and just the expressions on both their faces, and him calling her Freckles again and the biscuit and her trying not to cry...they're so in love and I love it!

And did they kill that other dude? Who escaped? Did they haul him off to shoot him? Weird, weird, weird.

So: in sum, one episode and I already love Season Three more than I did Season Two.

And the promo for next week? The kiss? I LOVE THEM.

Dude...and the Secret Service guy from The West Wing is on The Nine. The Nine is actually a little good. Granted it's only like fifteen minutes in. I'm curious to say the least.

I want to see Marie Antoinette real bad. But mainly because New Order's music is used in the trailer and the cinematography of the movie looks like a giant pastel, sugary cake or something.

And true fact: Ugly Betty may or may not be my secret guilty pleasure.

Second fact: I watch too much TV.

tv, tv: lost
