As we drove, I glanced over at Wesley and said, "Yeah, I know what you mean..." After that, I didn't know what else to say, so I fell silent. As I drove, I noticed the clouds moving in; great, a rainy day... that meant Cordelia would be cheerfully cleaning inside the office again...

As I drove, I glanced over at Wes again, and sighed slightly. He was looking out the window, silent, and I wondered again just how he was feeling. Not like he would tell anyone if he was still sick, though... He looked better than he had last night, but still not exactly like normal, and I was worried. I was glad that the others were okay, that they hadn't gotten sick.

"Are you going to be able to shower okay?" I asked after a few minutes, as if we had been conversing the whole time. "I mean, you still look a bit shaky, Wes." I glanced over at him again, aware that I was treading on thin ice here; he wasn't exactly open about his health to begin with, and I didn't want him to feel like I was hovering- I knew how annoying that could be. On the other hand, though, I was concerned, and wasn't that one of the things that they had all been on me for, for not caring?

As we pulled onto the street where Wes lived, I started to look around for a parking space as I waited for Wesley's answer. The sun was blocked by the clouds, and I looked up at the sky again, almost glad that it was going to rain. After all, it was a change from the sunny weather we had been having since we had returned from Pylea and heard about Buffy's death. I was ready for a change...

The driver over to my place was silent for the most part. Which was fine by me, I wasn't really in the mood for talking. To tired, and my head was starting to hurt again. Didn't really matter, just a good nights rest and that would be fine too. This is really the last time I'm going to stand in a slime demons projectory range.

"Hmmm?" I turned my head and glance at Angel when he talked. He kept on worrying didn't he? Giving him a tired smile, I nodded. "I'll be fine, Angel. I promise not to drown myself. And if I do, I'll give you a call alright?" Joke, lame but at least I was trying. Leaning back against the window, I sighed and closed my eyes until Angel parked the car.

I looked up when the car stopped and blinked. "Oh, are we here already?" Clearing my throat, I fumbled a bit to open the door and got out. Holding on to said door for a bit to steady myself, I closed it and then walked over to the building while fishing in my pockets for the keys. "Thank you for taking me, Angel," I said, leaning over to look at him. "I'll call you tomorrow?"
