Shows galore.

So Tuesday Josh came here and we went to see the Emery/ Eighteen Visions/ Misery Signals/ Remembering Never. First we went to south street to hand out some flyers and hang some posters and then we went to the TLA to see the show. It was pretty good. Eh... I dont have much else to say about it. We met Keith there. Josh and Keith got along and they have a mutual friend from west chester too.

We forgot that it was Mardi Gras on South Street and cops were in full force and people were all over. Keith was yelling nonsense at cops and people and then he started a conversation with some guy walking down the street. The guy was high and Keith told him about how weed makes him impotent and impregnate his sister why shooting a load in her eye?

Then we got to the subway and Josh and I went through the turnstile thing and then Keith went in the other one and it was like jammed and wouldnt accept his token. I said, "JUMP IT JUMP IT" and he did and wouldnt you know it there was a cop standing there that accosted him and questioned him alittle bit. Then we went back to Temple and Josh went back to West Chester.

Yesterday I went to classes and then around 5 Becky, Rob and I went out on Broad and caught a cab to go to the North Star Bar. North Star bar was very cool but very little. We were like 13 in line and the first 30 people got to meet and greet with the band which was awesome. I got my picture with all the guys in LetterKills. We also got free pizza and it was very good but very greasy. We also got free posters that the guys from LK's signed. Then I saw a guy that looked familiar and it was the guitarist from Stutterfly who I am on the street team for and was handing out stuff on south street for. I introduced myself and told him I was on the street team and he was so excited and I got pictures with him. He was very nice and glad I was helping and that someone knew them. Then I eventually found the lead singer too and he was also cool. They are canadian and they always say, "No Worries" instead of "Your Welcome" or "No Problem". I thought it was funny and cool so Im gonna say it now. haha Im canadian eh? At the end of the night I introduced myself to the other guitarist who was also nice and excited to meet me.

So then soon the first band started. Arms of Orion. The bassist lives here in 1940. They were very good. I was impressed. The next band was Adair. I dont think they were scheduled but they were amazing. They had so much energy and Rob said that there CD is much more mellow which it is but they were much harder in person. The bassist was CRAZY he was doing guitar flip after guitar flip and then him and the other guitarist did syncronized ones. It was perfect. Awesome preformance. Then Stutterfly came on and they played awesome too. I got to sing along to the songs I knew which was cool. very good as well. Then finally LetterKills came on. Just amazing. they played...

I just noticed the date on the set list is wrong. Dopes.

They played awesome and myself and Rob sang pretty much every song cause the microphone kept being put in front of us. We rocked out hard. Anyways. It was just awesome. We walked around after the show and talked to some of the band members and just chilled and then Becky said the guys from Adair needed a place to stay and she gave them her phone number. They ended up texting her laster saying they were staying with LetterKills but they were happy that had a place to stay if need be. That would have been very weird if they stayed here. lol There was 7 of them!

So then we left the NorthStar Bar and we walked pretty far to get closer to campus and we all smoked a clove and then caught a cab back to campus. We were so close we could have walked the rest of the way.

We got back and we didnt want to just leave so Rob invited us in and we went to his room for some refreshments. It was a very pleasant evening. I was very happy at the end of the night.

Good times... good times.

Then I also found out last night that Adam is trying to transfer to Temple.... for serious. That would be soo cool if we got an apartment here and it would be very convinent. Im very excited and hope he can transfer here. We are both Comp Sci majors too which would be cool. More modified N64's anyone? haha

So I guess that is it for now. I was gonna upload more pictures but fucking picturetrail just like ends memberships. Webshots only lets you have like 250 pictures and Photobucket I dont think has a client and I dont want to upload one by one. Fotki I just dont like. So I am boycotting image hosting till I find something good. Fuck them.

Anyone have a good host that doesnt suck.. my criteria are..
-over 25megs of space
-mass upload
