Pain that hasn't ever hurt so good...
So, in case you don't read up on Shannon's Live Journal I'll just sum up / give you the REAL version of what happened...
Okay... to set up the back story, for the past few days, I've had this mega painful spot on the back of my neck; I believe that it's actually a wind burn (it's been about average temperature of 15 degrees below zero for the whole week). Yesterday, we tried applying a cold compress, and it felt better.
So, tonight, we were doing this as we sat on the couch and just relaxed. The real bitch of the matter was, however, that the cloth that we used would get dried out and I'd go every 7 minutes to go put more water on it. We've got a little spray bottle, so I got that to make it easier / more convenient.
Shannon got a hold of the water bottle, and started spraying my neck directly. That was fucking cold as hell... soon, I was squeezing out the cloth full of cold water on her... and, before we knew it, a water fight was raging.
Towards the end of the fight, I got two face cloths both full of water. Shannon was hiding around a door by the hallway. I ran out of the bathroom (very John Woo like) turned the corner and emptied both cloths right on Shannon soaking her entirely. I OBVIOUSLY won the water fight.
However... as I turned the corner, I slipped on the soaking wet floor... I slid, crashed into a wall, my leg collapsed and I landed with all my weight right on the one knee I've not fucked up yet.
Thoughts to the first time I dislocated my left knee cap returned to my head, and I was in panic mode... Shannon helped me to my feet and soon we were laughing our asses off about it all.
It was really pretty good shit :)
It was a great end to a stressful day.
