Crazy ass Thunder, Taking Back Sunday, Random Real Worlders and lots and lots of FOB.
I thought about leaving a long ass post about what has
happend since the last time I posted but I decided not to. I'll
just tell you a few highlights before getting into today :)
Last Thursday when I had driver's ed, this bubbley chick in the back seat is playing with her iPod and she starts playing "Sugar We're Goin Down" and she's singing along and whatever and she gets to the "Loaded God Complex" part and as I'm driving (I love how this all goes down while I am behind the wheel of the vehicle.) And I don't know why I knew, but I just KNEW she was going to be one of those "Loaded Gun Complex" people. And needless to say she gets to that part and the word "GUN" comes out of her mouth and I'm thinking, I KNEW IT! So then she starts rambling about how she doesn't know exactly what she's saying there and what a "Loaded Gun Complex" is. And of course I'm not gonna keep my mouth shut, So I let her know that it was " Loaded God Complex" and she would not let it go that I was right. "But I don't understand. It just doesn't make sense. They're talking about being the number one with a bullet, and cocking it and pulling it, it has to be gun, God just wouldn't make sense." And I'm trying to reason with her, "I'm telling you it's God. Fall Out Boy likes to try and confuse people, they like to keep their fans on their toes with the music." And she's all "Well, if it's "Loaded God Complex" what the heck is a "Loaded God Complex"?" And I was like, "Well, it's kind of like when someone always thinks they're right and that they are better then anyone else and how they pretty much think they're better than God." The irony of it all was that she was acting like she had quite the "Loaded God Complex" at that point. lol. Anyways, she finally let it go when I was like "I'll print you out the lyrics, prove to you that I am right and I'll bring in the CD case and show you the lyrics in the booklet." And finally, she shut her whole.
Next time we had driver's ed, which was on Monday, I brought her lyrics, and I highlighted everytime "Loaded God Complex" came up, and I even highlighted the bottom that said [NOTE: The correct lyrics really are "Loaded GOD Complex" It was confirmed by band memebers.] And I showed her the CD booklet and she was like "Yeah. I asked my boyfriend, he said it was God." NO SHIT! I did like how she took my CD and put it on while we drove. I didn't mind that AT ALL!
Ok so... what else happened before today?
Nothing really.
Monday Ariana had her Graduation Party and I had Sam come over and we did some stego-bike-a-saurus shit. Kind of didn't work out to well. Then we ordered some chinese food and watched some Laguna Beach preview for the new season shit and that made me happpyyy even though I pretend to hate that show. Ha.
Tuesday my mom took Sam, Amanda and I to the mall and we were on a hunt for Peter Pan things, THE DISNEY STORE DOES NOT CARRY ANYTHING PETER PAN! They have plenty TINKER BELL shit but NO PETE PAN! What is up with that?! Um yeah, I got the new AAR cd and that made me happy. We ate some Smokey's. We tried to Stego again and it still wasn't working. Oh, but we did go to Rita's, got ice cream and got back to the house in time to watch the Real World. (No Fall Out Boy in this episode yet, too bad. lol)
Ok so basically this post should be about today.
My alarm clock decided to take the morning off so when my mom came into my room at 10:30 asking if i was going to my 11:00 driver's ed i was all pissed at my alarm until i heard the crazy ass thunder outside and then realized how much it was raining. So i was like fuck it.
I showered and all that fun stuff and got dressed and then Sam got here and we made our way to Merrick for the Taking Back Sunday signing.
Merrick = Brand New-Ville.
Brand New and Taking Back Sunday, not so much friends.
How much does it suck that I almost wore a Brand New shirt today. Oh god.
So Sam and I got to this place where TBS was gonna be.
and guess what? now i'm really bored with this. SO, i'm gonna continue and finish it tomorrow.
