Half-Year/Nigh-50 Posting : The 49 Week 51 Round Up/Update [T49W51RU/U +1]

halfway through the year already... we finally escaped what felt like a neverending winter into the deep, rich throes of summer
oh, I love summer - don't think otherwise - but it passes by so, so fast!
...and only two workdays (split by Independence Day) until Vacation Vol 4 already !!
which means, of course, that I'm a mere week and a day from half-a-century of living already *whew/Oi!*
Vacation Vol 3 was enjoyable, spending it at the Grand York session... Thurs I was involved, the rest of the weekend was just relaxing at the hotel and enjoying the brotherhood of those around
it worked out great with two wonderful Brothers with rides to and from Alexandria
as I mentioned before, no long travels this year... well, unless you count the trip to Alex and a potential trip over the border into Wisconsin ?
ANYways... other than some work craziness including a project long-overdue that I'm not finding enough time for & Lodge-related enjoyment, there isn't a great lot going on in my world...
my eldest daughter got the opportunity - thankfully - to get her diploma with a summer session * whew * ... hopefully this goes well !
can't believe how fast time has passed and progressed when my eldest living child is already on the blade's edge of adulthood

5/26 : this may be a 'fun' long weekend *sighs* - wi-fi went out, internet is sporadic on the PC, & 1st available tech is Tues ... worked just fine last night - ah, technology, keeping our lives 'interesting' at the most inopportune moments
6/10 : if we're strangers, yes, I may say something respectfully relating to your physical sex ( darlin', sir, etc ) - if it bothers you, then calmly & respectfully say your name... or just smile and nod. if we ever meet & converse again, then you can bring up your social sexuality...

6/11 : if you have to use the excuse "the toppings make the burger," then stop promoting yourselves as 'best burgers' and say 'best toppings' instead - if I wanted a salad and sauce with a side of meat, that's what i'd ask for... no, I wanted a tasty burger, not a 'meh' burger, if that
6/15 : they're deep-cleaning the stairwells & hallways and I come in with dust literally wafting off of me * oops * :( :o
6/30 : dreamage : I was a priest with a shotgun and sword, saving a group of college cheerleaders and nuns from an oncoming horde of small but deadly dinosaurs...
