Other than the 40+second of credits, this is the best damn commercial I've seen in a long time!

S'been a crazy/odd/unusual week (as if you couldn't tell!)... from it's red-headed insanity of a start to it's chilly fall end! So, what've got now, world? Bring it on - I'm ready! Particularly if she's about yay-tall, sane (well, I should specify, sane yet crazy enough to put up with me), and female... is that so much to ask? Well, yeh, legal, too, but that goes without saying - geez!
via netflix:
Igor - in a kingdom where the economy is based on evil inentions (blackmail) and ruled by evil scientists, a lowerclass "Igor" aspires to evil...
with inventions including an immortal reanimated rabbit and a idiot brain in a jar on wheels, he intends on the most evil invention yet: creating life.
when it's "evil bone" doesn't activate, the huge super-strong woman becomes gentle, affectionate, and feminine... and is stolen by a conniving scientist.
Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs - on an island dependant on sardines, a disastrous wanna-be-inventor invents a machine that mutates water to food.
using a communication device to send orders to the machine, which had skyrocketed to the stratosphere, all starts well but soon people get greedy/needy.
when a massive food storm threatens the world and the inventor loses hope, his father finally encourages him giving him the confidence to save the world.
adding to the humour is a weather intern love interest, the town celebrity/rival, a monkey who speaks through a thought translator, and... uhm... ratbirds.
The Hangover - a groom-to-be, his 2 friends and brother of the bride go to Vegas for a night of bachelor party revelry, renting a villa at Ceasars.
the friends & brother awaken remembering nothing to find the room beyond trashed, groom-to-be missing, a tiger in the bathroom, and a baby in the closet...
the trio, baby in tow, begin retracing their steps via items found in their pockets, a hospital band on one's wrist, and the last thing they can remember.
a stolen cop car, marriage to a Vegas escort, 80,000$ in Bellagio chips, kidnapping of a dumbass drug dealer, and more all equal one helluva funny movie!
ownedflix:
Balls Of Fury - just your classic film of a Def Leppard-lovin' former child ping-pong champion competing in an underground ping-pong championship.
*smiles* basically, take your favourite martial arts film and replace every instance of martial arts with... ping-pong... in the most hilarious of ways!
Alvin & The Chipmunks:The Squeakquel - while I didn't like it as much as the first, it is still an entertaining film for both adults and children.
When Dave ends up in the hospital, a series of events leads to them being taken care of by Dave's cousin as they start High School, with new rivals/friends.
Used Cars - Kurt Russell as a down'n'dirty used car salesman who needs to save the car lot where he works from the (deceased) owner's twin brother.
One of my favourite of the Kurt Russell comedies, an utterly completely insane but unbelievably enjoyable comedy of... uhm... uh... used car proportions?
Labyrinth - David Bowie, great music, a young beautiful Jennifer Connelly, David Bowie, Jim Henson, great fantasy... did I mention David Bowie?
*laughs* ... seriously, though - I can share my love of this movie with my girls... the Goblin King Jareth, Hoggle, Ludo, Sir Didymus, the Fire Gang. :)
Sex Drive - don't let the name fool you, this is a really humerous and surprisingly sweet film with great casting and unbelievable situations *grins*.
The Frighteners - Michael J. Fox is a former-architecht able to see spirits since his wife's death forced to face a mysterious murderous spirit...
an excellent blend of humour and horror (more humour than horror) with amazing and oftimes disturbingly humerous characters (Jeffrey Combs, for example).
