Ah, May, here's what the month has in store! May is...
Date Your Mate Month
National Barbecue Month
National Bike Month
National Blood Pressure Month
National Hamburger Month
National Photograph Month
National Recommitment Month
National Salad Month
Older Americans/Senior Citizens Month
National Peace Of Mind Month
and according to VH1, it's also Metal Month
...and...
Always May 6-12 Nurse's Week
1st Week International Pen Friends Week/Teacher Appreciation Week (4/30-6)
2nd Week Wildflower Week (7-13)
3rd Week National Police Week/Online Romance Week/National Police Week/New And Old Friends Week/Emergency Medical Services Week (14-20)
4th Week Emergency Medical Services Week (21-27)
5th Week (28-6/3)

Otherwise, being the 1st, today is Beltane/May Day, Roman Festival Of The Lares Præstites as well as Roman Feast Of The Lemures, Loyalty Day, Save The Rhino Day, and *whew* Space Day.
Oddly enough, in the coming weeks I have no holidays for the 3rd and 24th. This only happened before on March 24th, but will happen later in the year on June 6th, 13th, 20th, July 17th, 23rd, 28th, August 3rd, 31st, September 9th, 30th, November 12th, 25th, 29th, and December 24th (though I do admit from June-December I have yet to finish all my holiday searches, so there may be some I haven't caught yet).
So... for these days from May through December, if anyone has any holiday ideas, as they said in the 70s (I believe), "sock it to me!"
BTW, has anyone appreciated their teacher or sent a pen to their international friends (or is that made a friend of an international pen, I'm so confused)? It is now the second day of that/those week(s), after all!
Scheduled throughout the day today are a boycott/protests against legislation in the U.S. House that would make it a felony to be an illegal immigrant. Uhm, hello, key words here: "illegal immigrant," meaning not legal to be here, so why hasn't been a felony already?!? Hell, if there are illegal immigrants protesting, then we know where to look for 'em, don't we? They're calling it Un Dia Sin Inmigrantes ("A Day Without Immigrants"), hell, if they're going to protesting about immigrating here, send 'em back. I'm in agreement with one senator who said "pay a fine, pay a price, then learn English and get on a path to citizenship." (key words there, too: learn English, it should be required). They'll even be waving the flags of their native countries instead of the U.S. flag, which spurns me to ask again, why did they move here if their proud of where they came from and not of being here? ANYways, let's just tighten our immigration laws, "throw back" the illegal ones, and require English understanding and speaking in order to be in the workplace. Enough now.NFL Draft Grades are out, based upon the value of the players selected, as well as perceived needs filled by them. Here's the ratings:

A body of a middle-aged St. Paul man found in the North End (St. Paul) Cemetary. Well, you can't say he wasn't prepared! Sorry, I so had to. If anything, to lighten up most of this post.

Farethee well for now, but don't forget, it's Metal Month!! Rock it hard as hell!
