So I still have a livejournal. I kinda forgot about it. This is funny because part of my student teaching requirement is to keep a journal of my time doing it. I guess it goes along with the fact that when you make something you like doing your job, you stop liking it.
Updates:
I am engaged. I had planning it since about this past October and kept it secret until Thanksgiving when I told my parents I was proposing. I proposed to Abbi the fist moment we were alone together which happened to be December 30th. In case you are wondering she said yes. We are hoping for a June/July 2010 wedding.
I am student teaching in the fifth grade. It is a lot of fun. However there is little support from my adviser and I am relying soley on my cooperating teacher who is an SU grad as well. I am trying me damnedest because I want a job by August. And I want to teach in the surrounding area. Especially the school I am in now. I love the school district plus the area is nice to live in. The one huge drawback is going to bed around ten pm. Another one is I don't get a spring break.
