FINALS COME DOWN TO WINNER TAKES ALL
Championship series tied at 1 game.
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
For the first time in team history, Horizon Entertainment is poised to take home the hardware. Things looked to be almost too easy as the Entertainment squad cruised to a 5 - 1 victory on Thursday night, a game that saw Horizon kill off seven Agent Orange power plays, including a lengthy five-on-three. Agent Orange's lone goal came five minutes into the third period, halting Horizon goalie Dennis Daugherty's shutout streak at 79:38. Monday saw Agent Orange win by a score of 3 - 2.
Tonight's final battle will feature the return of penalty minute leader Derek Weikel. Weikel is coming off a three game suspension due to his actions during a game on January 24th. "I'm just happy to get a chance to play," Weikel said, "I wish the boys could have won it last night so we didn't have to worry about today. But now that I get a chance to play, I'm going to give it all I've got." Captain Ahmed Abdelbaki is expected to make his return tonight after missing the previous two games due to personal matters. His connecting flight left the Ukraine at 3am EST.
Tonight's game starts at 9:45 and will be played on pond one.
