(no subject)
there are some things in life that deserve to be posted.
i haven't writen in this in like, several months.
thursday night - horizon entertainment playoffs. we were the four seed, going up against the number one seed. we were down the entire game, but we still played pretty well.
jason got into it with some dude who thought he was louis robitallie. him and jason had a shoving match which turned into jason dropping the gloves and taking off his helmet. other dude just skated around. jason gets the edge for having the balls to step up.
later in the game, i was out killing a penalty. we were doing a fairly good job at it. i took a shot on goal, and the follow through from my stick gently rested on this other dudes arm. well, he fucking flipped out about it and came after me. so, i did what any good hockey player does. i started punching him in the face. first with my glove and then without. i grabbed his jersey and attempted to throw some punches but ended up throwing him on the ice and punching his back. at this point i stopped punching because the dude was down and thats just not cool.
so fight was over, and we both only get 2 minutes for roughing.
second thing.
last night a few of us went downtown to drink. at cioltas (sp?) jason turned to me and said 'is that whitehead?' ... backstory: mr. whitehead was a fill-in teacher i had my senior year of high school. best last two periods of my day because we did absolutly nothing ... anyway, after this cover band got done with a song jason yelled "WHITEHEAD" and, holy hell, it turns out to be him! so we chatted for a bit. so since being out of high school, i play hockey with a former teacher of mine, and now i've drank with one at the bar. seeing any other teacher would not have been anything to write home about. but seeing mr. whitehead, thats something else.

-beach
-katie
-working 8-5 everyday
-hockey - ratts and horizon
-bears win the freakin calder cup
-battlestar galactica
-missing my old life of staying out late and sleeping in.
-cursive
-clerks 2
-strangers with candy movie
coming up:
-last year of college, then a decision on the real world or grad school
-camping trip
-kate moving into an apartment
-me moving into a house
-ratts playoffs
-not working everyday
-getting up later
