Long Day
I forgot what it was like to work an eight hour day. I pulled my first eight hour shift at Waldenbooks tonight. My feet hurt. As does my back. And my side is still sore. I really should watch what I'm doing when I'm going up the stairs. For some reason I had lots of energy earlier, but now I've suddenly gotten tired.
And the kicker of the day is the when I picked up my check from Funworks, I was told not to cash it, because the owners did not have any money in the account. So, for now at least, I have a worthless piece of paper for a hundred and fifty bucks. And they didn't even tell me WHEN I could cash it. If I ever can.
